THERAPEUTIC TOY IN PRIMARY CARE: CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE SYSTEMATIZATION OF NURSING CARE

ABSTRACT Objective: to analyze the role of therapeutic toy as a tool for nursing diagnosis in setting care child with diabetes. Method: qualitative multiple-case study conducted children diagnosed Type 1 Diabetes mellitus and living inland Paraná. The data were collected 2018 through interviews, field diary sessions using toy. Nursing diagnoses elaborated according North American Diagnosis Association Taxonomy I targeted content analysis was performed, resulting four categories. Results: dramatic allows show their perception disease provided. made it possible identify five diagnoses, which later worked on by means an instructional Conclusion: systematization assistance mediated use nurses establish bonds diabetes family, revealing perceptions treatment, thereby stimulating more active participation binomial management this coping process.
